Award in Understanding and Managing Training and Development

At the end of the module/unit the learner will be able to:

• Demonstrate effective communication strategies
• Explore key principles underlying different teaching methods in adult learning
• Prepare training policies
• Ensure training and development within the organisation
• Manage the activities involved in designing, monitoring and evaluating the development activities taking place in an organisation
• Comply with the strategic role of training within the organisation

Prerequisites

A minimum of O'level 4 standard of education is required while a related job role is to be considered a plus.

Qualification Overview

All sessions will be held face-to-face or online via live web conferencing. It is also offered on a blended approach, with a substantial amount of self-study hours. An assessment task will be assigned to learners at the end of the course module.
