Award in Organisational Psychology (Human Resource Management)

By the end of this Award, learners will have been exposed to:

• Critically examine and evaluate the discipline of psychology and the scope of the discipline
• Critically analyse and assess how the study of human behaviour can assist human resource professionals in effectively managing the human resource capital
• Identify the importance of mental health and how it affects employees in their everyday lives at work
• Monitor workloads and schedules effectively to ensure the implementation of time and stress management at the place of work
• Apply basic principles of psychology to aid effective human resource management
• Practice effective recruitment and talent management through psychological assessments

This course is intended for those who are aged 21+ and aspire to work or are already working in the Human Resource field.

Prerequisites

• Applicants should normally hold a Bachelor’s Degree and have 2 years of related professional experience. Excellent command of written English is required.
