Who We Are
Villa Bologna Pottery has been making handmade and hand-painted ceramics since 1924. We make tableware, lamps and decorative pieces from earthenware clay.

The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Manager to oversee all the operations of the shop and all online sales. In this role you will be managing the Sales team and coordinating and overseeing the sales in the shops and online.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities, enjoy making sales, be passionate about interiors and be energetic, hardworking, organised and responsible.

Your role is to make sure that you are maximising sales and ensuring all customers have an excellent customer experience.

Main Roles

  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the shops
  • Make sure customers’ needs are catered to promptly and efficiently by yourself and the sales team
  • Ensure all customers receive an exceptional customer experience
  • Ensure all company procedures are followed by all staff and the shops are always clean and tidy, organised and fully stocked with product
  • Support and assist in the employee life cycle: attraction, recruitment, onboarding, training, learning and motivation, performance management, retention and separation
  • Build and foster relationships with customers
  • Manage all online orders making sure they are fulfilled on time
  • Ensure maximal revenue and profit are achieved from all sales opportunities

Required Skills

  • Must have 3+ years’ experience in a similar sales role
  • Be sales orientated
  • Must be highly organised, efficient and responsible
  • Must have excellent interpersonal / relationship building skills
