We are looking to recruit a BMS Engineer to join our Engineering team on a full-time basis.
The role
The chosen candidate will report to the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for designing, executing and implementing building management systems based on client requirements.
Main requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Preferably with experience as BMS Engineer.
- Experience with Autocad and BMS software such as Niagara is considered an asset.
- Ability to understand technical schematics and drawings.
- Excellent analytical skills, perseverance, and attention to detail.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work autonomously.
The chosen candidate will be required to:
- Design, execute and implement building management systems.
- Support system evaluators during the tendering stage and create proposals, documentation and BOQs as required.
- Provide technical support on the field during project execution.
- Provide post-implementation customer support and problem resolution.
- Train technical staff and partners as required.
- Design rigorous quality tests of the systems.
- Establish operation and maintenance manual (OMM).
- Maintain up-to-date documentation pertaining to systems.
- Any other task assigned by senior management and as required from time to time.
