Job Description
Palm Shipping Agency Ltd., one of Malta’s leading shipping agencies is looking for an Operations Executive to join our Ship Agency department.
The main duties include
- Coordination of operations in ports and offshore.
- Coordination of ship husbandry services.
- Updating ship owners, charterers and principals with operational updates.
- Back-office work including the compiling of voyage disbursements account.
General requirements
- Be computer literate and proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Hold a clean driving license and police conduct.
- Have a good standard of education ideally MQF 4 or higher.
- Be able to multi-task and perform well under pressure.
- Experience in the maritime sector will be considered an asset, although one-on-one training will be provided.
The right candidate must be prepared to work after hours / weekends / public holidays on a rotational duty roster.
