Job Description

We are currently seeking Marketing and E-commerce Assistant to join our team.

  • Daily monitoring of website pages for functionality:
    • Conducting daily checks to ensure all website pages load properly, links are functional, and any technical issues are promptly addressed to maintain a seamless user experience and prevent potential revenue loss.
  • Invoicing of orders:
    • Generating and issuing invoices for customer orders in a timely and accurate manner, including relevant details such as item descriptions, quantities, prices, and payment terms, to facilitate smooth transaction processing and financial record-keeping.
  • Receiving products and checking them:
    • Receiving incoming inventory shipments, verifying the accuracy of received items against purchase orders or packing slips, and conducting quality checks to ensure products meet established standards before they are sent to customers.
  • SEO of website (keyword inputting):
    • Conducting keyword research and incorporate relevant keywords into website content, metadata, and product descriptions to improve organic search engine rankings and drive targeted traffic to the site. To handle blogs uploads on website.
  • Products uploading + publishing new stock collections:
    • Collaborating with the brand managers to launch new products received and include in website collections. This includes checking of stock template received, uploading product information, images resizing, and descriptions, and ensuring accurate categorization and visibility to maximize exposure and sales potential.
  • Stock cards checking and amendments (use of excel):
    • Reviewing and updating stock cards records, using SIMS or spreadsheets in Excel, to ensure it is in line with website requirements.
  • Website merchandising weekly basis (to have best-selling products visible on top of page):
    • Strategically arranging and promoting best-selling or featured products on the website’s homepage or category pages, based on sales performance and marketing priorities, to optimize product visibility and drive conversions.
  • Assist in email marketing campaigns
    • Supporting the execution of email marketing campaigns by resizing images, formatting content, and providing creative input for email campaigns.
  • Monitoring / communicate with staff for orders received:
    • Checking that orders are being fulfilled, products are being received in a timely manner and delivered to customers within the delivery timeframe required.
  • Communicate with package personnel for orders received:
    • Communicate and provide directions to the person in charge of packaging and ensure a smooth transition for the orders received / packed.
  • Packaging of products when required:
    • Prepare client packages when required, wrap in branded tissue paper and other requirements for shipping and communicate with courier services to set pick up/ deliveries.
  • Customer care queries:
    • Responding to customer inquiries or concerns via email, phone, or chat channels (live chat), providing helpful and timely assistance, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive and professional customer service experience to foster customer loyalty and retention.
  • Competitor analysis:
    • To keep an eye out for what competitors are doing to stay ahead in the market.
  • Data reporting
    • Generate simple reports and insights that can contribute to increased website performance.
  • Updating banners on website:
    • Regularly refreshing the banners displayed on the website homepage to showcase promotions, new arrivals, or seasonal campaigns, ensuring visual appeal and alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Updating collections (ex. best sellers):
    • Updating products in collection ‘Best Sellers’ or themed collections, to showcase new products for visitors and keep our page updated and fresh.
  • Updating tags on website:
    • Reviewing and updating product tags and metadata to improve searchability and categorisation within the website’s search engine and navigation filters, enhancing user experience and discoverability.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar e-commerce or retail environment is considered a plus.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and experience with keyword research and implementation is considered a plus.
  • Interest in Marketing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Efficient time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Comfortable with basic data reporting and analysis using tools like Excel or Google Analytics.
  • Ability to analyse data and generate insights to improve website performance and drive sales.
  • Ability to collaborate with team, including brand managers, marketing, and customer service personnel.
  • Willingness to assist colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the team.
  • Interest in the fashion, with a willingness to stay updated on industry trends and competitors’ activities.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Additional certifications related to the field is considered a plus.
  • Openness to learning and contributing insights aimed at enhancing website performance.
