Amino Chemicals Ltd. is part of Aba Chemicals Corporation, Shanghai who provides custom manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnological and agrochemical industries worldwide. Amino Chemicals is an active pharmaceutical ingredients manufacturer that has been developing innovative and proprietary processes since 1993.
Due to the expansion of our operations, we require for immediate employment: Logistics Specialist.
The ideal candidates should:
- Have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Have good written and spoken Italian.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Previous experience working on ERP or MRP software.
- Be self-motivated, organised and meticulous in his/her work.
Some main tasks include:
- Transportation management: Arrange transportation for shipments via various modes (road, air, sea) while considering factors such as cost, urgency, and regulatory compliance.
- Documentation and compliance: Ensure accurate documentation of shipments, including waybills, customs documentation, and regulatory compliance paperwork, in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction within the logistics function, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Risk management: Proactively identify potential risks and disruptions to the supply chain, such as supplier delays or transportation bottlenecks, and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing, warehouse, procurement, production, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to support integrated planning and execution of logistics activities.
