Job Description

We are currently seeking an Office Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Yard Operations function, as necessary.
  • Manage, supervise, and coordinate the daily yard operations when operating overseas and locally, when required.
  • Act as the direct link between the client and MMH (Head Office).
  • Responsible for maintaining good client relations by providing prompt attention and courteous service.
  • Draft as necessary, a day log of ongoing site operations and reports to the Yard Operations function.
  • Keep the Yard Operations function appraised of any delays or discrepancies.
  • Responsible for being familiar with the oil and gas materials as they pertain to the Yard at the same time, is responsible for the physical reception of materials and the handling / storage of all materials.
  • Keep an updated inventory and record all equipment movements in / out from storage (operational yard) daily.
  • Assists the Yard Operations function in good yard record keeping and any administrative requirements as deemed necessary on a day-by-day basis. This is to include the issue of periodic reports amongst others.
  • Assist the Yard Operation Executive and Senior Yard Operations Coordinator and assume her duties during any absences.
  • Be flexible and assist other functions within the group when deemed necessary.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and housekeeping of the premises.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Responsible for following up with project owners on all internal and external jobs.
  • Keep up-to-date operational, administrative and financial records of the function.
  • Coordinate and record function-specific planning and execution of activities.
  • Assist Senior Executives / Executives with day-to-day HR duties.
  • Internal Auditor responsibilities.
  • Perform general administrative duties as may be required.
  • Understand and follow the Group’s Human Resources (HR) policies and procedures.
  • Understand and comply with the Group’s Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
  • Responsible to wear and ensure that all personnel and third parties on-site wear protective clothing provided by the employer, when required, according to the site procedures specified in the HSE policies.
  • Understand and comply with the Group’s Site Surveillance guidelines.
  • Understand and comply with the Group’s Quality Management system.
