Job Description
We are currently seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our team.
Duties and responsibilities of a Shipping Clerk include but are not limited to the following:
- Reviewing and responding to queries from vessel’s agent / clients;
- Processing the documentation received from the ship’s agent which then counterchecked against Company’s own documents and data;
- Liaising with other departments regarding shipping-related data and documents;
- Processing and inputting of data and issuing of documentation as necessary to agents and other departments relevant to shipping duties;
- Handling other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate with customers;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to convey ideas and issues in a clear, concise manner both orally and in writing;
- Proficiency in Microsoft office products such as Outlook and Excel and Word;
- Ability to work with management and employees at various levels within and outside of the organization;
- Ability to work well independently.
Salary range: €15,000 to €18,000 (depending on experience).
