Job Description

Mizzi Motors Ltd is looking to recruit a full-time Logistics Clerk to join our team.

The Logistics Clerk is responsible for performing the day-to-day duties related to the Logistics department including processing all the necessary documentation to register cars.

Tasks
Perform day-to-day duties to the Logistics department such as:

  • To process the necessary documents to release vehicles from customs
  • To process online payments to the Customs department
  • To process any vehicle transfers with Transport Malta
  • To open vehicle consignments and ensure that all documents are collected and uploaded using the Therefore platform
  • To submit customs and NSO declarations on time
  • Assist colleagues and superiors as required to ensure that end-of-month deadlines are met

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills and ability to maintain good relationships with your peers
  • Be highly organised and meticulous
  • Have an eye for detail and an ability to relate well to people
  • Be able to work in a team

Qualifications and Experience

  • Driving licence (B, B1)
  • Fluent in Maltese is a must
  • ECDL qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar position will be considered an asset though training will be given to the right candidate
