We are currently seeking a Sales and Marketing Clerk to join our team.
Job overview and essential functions
The Sales and Marketing Clerk will be responsible for assisting the Sales department employees with daily sales requirements and upkeeping of records and office organisation to facilitate the overall sales function.
You will be reporting to the Sales Director and General Manager.
Main duties will be but are not restricted to:
- Assisting the MD in all the required tasks pertaining to the Sales office.
- Keeping records of all sales orders and updating of product inventory.
- Handling incoming calls pertaining to sales.
- Conducting research on equipment for tenders or purchases.
- Going out of the office on company errands.
- Overseeing and preparing documents for tenders.
- Handling of daily tasks that may arise.
- Filing and document organization.
- Maintain and update company social media platforms.
- Any other administration tasks which may be delegated in the absence of the related office.
All the duties and responsibilities are to be carried out with total loyalty to the company, and in the interest of the company.
Candidates applying must enjoy working in a constantly changing environment, have an eye for detail and enjoy meeting and talking with new and existing clients. You must be willing to do off-site visits and meetings for quotes and future sales growth.
The Sales and Marketing Clerk is required to demonstrate confidentiality at all times and must have a flexible approach and a can-do attitude.
In addition, candidates must have experience in sales and preparation of tender documentation for submission or be willing to undergo training on sales and tender application procedures.
Qualifications:
- ECDL qualification
- Minimum of an A’ level standard of education and minimum one year experience working in sales and marketing
- Candidates must be fluent in Maltese and English
