The Company
EMCS was established as a consultancy firm some forty years ago and is now one of the leading boutique advisory and tax firms in Malta serving both local and international clients. The firm, in collaboration with international partners, has been entrusted with the provision of temporary workers for an EU Agency in Greece and is looking to expand its dynamic team of professionals to assist with this project and other efficient, professional services to our increasing portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities
We are looking to recruit a full-time Project Assistant who will be supporting EMCS management with all aspects of the project, in particular missions and contract management.

Job Duties

  • Coordinating travel arrangements for employees from quotation to booking stage
  • Managing and updating datasheets relative to the various steps in expense reimbursement processes
  • Communicating with temporary workers mainly via email or calls
  • Assist in issuing periodic and ad hoc reports
  • Filing, data-inputting, mail-handling and processing of documentation and other administrative tasks as the need arises
  • Assisting management with other tasks relative to this project as the need arises

Essentially Primary Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent command of English and Greek
  • Good customer service attitude
  • Minimum diploma level of education
  • Experience working in the tourism industry, travel agencies or customer service role will be considered an asset

Skills

  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Pro-active and organised with a keen eye for detail
  • Dependable, discreet and emphatic
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a can-do approach
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Applications, especially Word and Outlook

Working Conditions
Standard working hours 8.00 to 17.00 Monday to Friday, one hour break. Certain days working half day in summer.*
