Operations Assistant

Job Description

DC Aviation Malta LTD provides major business aviation aircraft with ground handling services at Malta International Airport, assists with aircraft services and terminal services as necessary for the safe and reliable operation of aircraft and the comfort and enjoyment of our VIP passengers.

We are looking for new positive-minded members to join our growing team in a very rewarding environment.

The following are the main duties to be undertaken:

Work on a shift basis, including night shifts and standby hours covering a 24 hr shift
Work in a healthy mixture of both outdoor and office environments
Aircraft and ramp handling to executive aircraft which include aircraft marshalling, towing, parking etc.
General office duties
Meet and greet crew and passengers including luggage assistance and airside driving
Serve as a point of contact for customers and stakeholders, handling queries and resolving issues promptly
Collection of payment
Will report to the Operations Officers

Prospective candidates should:

Have a positive work attitude, as well as the ability to work both in a team and unsupervised
Be enthusiastic about working in a dynamic and rewarding environment, whilst meeting new people
Be driven by providing excellent customer service whilst having a passion for quality
Have a minimum O’ level standard of education or equivalent aviation diploma
Aviation Experience will be considered an asset
Have excellent proficiency in both Maltese and English
Be skilled in Microsoft Office applications or equivalent
Have at least 3 years driving experience
Must be over 21 years of age
Previous experience within the aviation industry, hospitality industry or a busy working environment is considered an asset
Be in possession of a clean police conduct and successfully able to pass a background check performed by AVSEC
Must have Maltese working permit and residence
Training and excellent packages are being offered to the right candidates
