Job Description

Simonds Farsons Cisk plc is currently looking to recruit an Administration Officer to be part of the Operations team within the PET line.

We are looking to recruit a candidate who needs to be an active member of the PET facility. The selected person will need to assist in the overall planning and coordination of all human resources and materials related to production processes on the PET line.

The chosen candidate will:

  • Compile and maintain rosters for all personnel on the production lines, communicate them to employees, and utilize Indigo or other systems for facilitating personnel rostering, scheduling, attendance tracking, and leave booking.
  • Issue handover instructions to the Process Leader, support in the preparation and updating of production plans, and issue any other relevant reports pertaining to production planning activities as needed.
  • Assist the superior in the formulation of the production schedule, planning plant maintenance and cleaning, and gathering any maintenance-related data.
  • As and when required, utilize company software such as ERP and EIT for the creation and closure of production jobs on the PET line, and when necessary, on the beer line as well.
  • Gather data on PET production key performance indicators, including Syrup and Preform wastages, raw material variances, changeover time, CIP times, and line efficiency daily, consolidating this reporting monthly. Highlight any exceptional trends to the Direct Superior.
  • Assist process managers in gathering and organizing data and documentation, such as record sheets.

The chosen candidate will possess:

  • An A’ level or diploma standard of education in a related field, coupled with a minimum of three years of experience in the technical environment.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in both Maltese and English.
  • Good coordination and organisation skills whilst also being able to negotiate.
  • The ability to be part of a team formulating relevant policies / procedures.
  • The ability to work in a team and also independently.
