Position description
Successful candidates in this position will help deliver cutting-edge, intuitive and user-friendly software solutions to our clients. Passionate about your work and committed to quality and excellence, you will have tangible experience (minimum 3 years) in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, development and deployment.
You will be responsible for creating engaging and intuitive interfaces for our software products, ensuring an exceptional user experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals and experience
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final development and deployment
- Conceptualise original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design situations
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic Design or a related field
- Proven work experience as a UX/UI Designer, Javascript / CSS Developer or similar role, developing effective user interfaces
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Ensure design compatibility across various browsers and devices
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI design projects
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma or similar
- Experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML5, CSS (including CSS3), JavaScript
- Understanding of user-centred design principles and best practices
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
