P. Cutajar & Co. Limited is a leading importer and distributor of high-quality brands including Ferrero, Lavazza, Bacardi, Dewar’s and Martini. It also operates Retail Stores under the Solaris, Coccinelle and Haagen Dazs brands. We feel proud to have been at the forefront of the markets in which we operate for over 150 years.
We are seeking to recruit a full-time Graphic Designer to support with the day-to-day activities within the Marketing department. The selected candidate will be reporting directly to the Marketing Manager.
You will be performing the following main duties amongst others:
- Preparing graphic work by gathering information and materials from each represented Manager through the Marketing department;
- Designing content for multiple channels;
- Planning concepts by studying information and materials;
- Illustrating concepts by designing the layout of art and copy with the right size, type size and style;
- Obtaining approval of concept by submitting layout for approval through management;
- Coordinating with outside agencies, art services and printers when required;
- Creating and editing reels for various social media channels.
Interested candidates must:
- Have at least one year of experience working as a Graphic Designer or a similar role;
- Be responsible with a positive attitude towards the role;
- Be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite CC;
- Possess excellent analytical, conceptual thinking, time management and creativity skills;
- Be flexible, deadline-oriented and meticulous;
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Be competent in video editing and event-oriented.
The ideal candidate must also present a portfolio of work which demonstrates his / her passion for illustrative design and typography.
