Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated software developer to join our dynamic team at Abertax Quality Ltd, located in Paola. If you are passionate about software development and eager to work in a collaborative and challenging environment, we invite you to be a part of our team.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for:
- The development, testing and deployment of in-house applications.
- Maintaining existing legacy programs.
- Carrying out basic IT front-end support tasks and escalating as needed.
The ideal candidate should:
- Have comprehensive knowledge of Python, PHP, Javascript / jQuery, HTML, CSS.
- Possess good knowledge of query languages such as MSSQL or MySQL.
- Be able to carry out basic front-end IT support, including for user endpoint systems (telephones, printers, end-user software, etc).
- Be able to work with or willing to learn version control and project management systems, specifically Subversion and OpenProject.
- Knowledge of Visual Basic is considered an asset.
- Be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Possession of a driving license will be considered an asset.
