We are currently seeking a Buyer Assistant to join our team.
As a Buyer Assistant for Bluerock operations, your role revolves around supporting the development of the product proposition and providing crucial administrative assistance to the Buyer team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring departmental strategy execution through efficient management of sales reports, critical paths, and sample coordination.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Generate and distribute weekly sales reports, preparing visual presentations of best sellers.
- Manage article creation and maintenance, ensuring accurate setups for all orders.
- Coordinate with accurately set up new suppliers.
- Keep the shop floor updated on deliveries and new launches.
- Maintain regular contact with visual merchandising, providing relevant information for specific promotional activities and ensuring proper product presentation.
- Keep the office organized, implementing filing systems, and maintaining a tidy and presentable workspace.
Qualifications and experiences:
- Excellent administration and time management skills, accustomed to working at a fast pace and meeting key deadlines.
- Buying or merchandising qualification preferred, or relevant experience with a desire to pursue a career in buying.
- Strong PC literacy, including ability in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Effective prioritization skills and the ability to manage workload efficiently.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience in managing internal and external stakeholders.
