Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Detailer to join our dynamic team.

The Medical Detailer will be responsible for the targeted detailing of women’s health products to healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate should have an understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our Women’s Health products, including their mechanisms of action, indications, contraindications, and safety profiles.
  • Effectively communicate medical and scientific information to healthcare professionals in a clear and concise manner. Utilise visual aids, promotional materials, and other resources to enhance product presentations.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians and other key decision-makers. Build trust and credibility by providing accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Provide feedback to the Business Unit Lead and to the sales and marketing teams to help shape product positioning and promotional strategies.
  • Ensure all interactions and communications comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards. Stay updated on relevant laws and guidelines pertaining to pharmaceutical sales.
  • Keep Business Unit Lead informed about new product developments and updates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions with healthcare professionals, feedback received, and market intelligence. Provide regular reports to management on activities, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and other events. Engage with healthcare professionals, answer inquiries, and distribute promotional materials.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a medical / science field.
  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related field preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
