Grana Restaurant, located in Sliema and Valletta, provides the perfect setting to indulge in delicious Italian gourmet cuisine and share memorable moments with friends and family.

The NEU Collective is currently seeking a diligent Operations Manager who will be tasked with overseeing and managing the daily operations within the brand. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to drive continuous success in alignment with the brand’s goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement efficiency measures to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements, implementing measures to uphold high levels of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and oversee budgets for operational activities, monitoring expenditures and identifying opportunities for cost-saving.
  • Establish performance goals and objectives for teams and individuals, conducting regular evaluations to track progress and provide feedback.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans and initiatives aimed at driving business growth and further expansion.
  • Foster communication and collaboration between departments to align goals and objectives.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements to achieve favourable terms.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness and adherence to best practices.

The potential candidate will ideally possess the following skills and qualities:

  • Proven track record in hotel operations management, demonstrating the ability to drive operational excellence and achieve business objectives, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Exceptional leadership and management capabilities, capable of motivating and inspiring teams to deliver high performance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a strategic mindset focused on continuous improvement.
  • Outstanding knowledge of the industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
