Job Description

DoubleTree by Hilton Malta is recruiting for a Customer Service Agent (Receptionist) on a full-time basis, within the Front Office department.

The successful candidate should be an energetic individual who enjoys working with people, possesses excellent communication and customer care skills and fluent in the use of Computer systems.

The position will assist in the following:

  • Welcoming guests to the hotel and ensuring an enjoyable and hassle-free stay
  • Maximising revenue through Rooms and Food and Drink up-selling whilst managing other related targets set by the department
  • Handling guest comments and queries and exceeding their expectations
  • General Front Office duties

The candidate should have a smart appearance, a minimum of one year experience in the hotel industry preferably within a 4/5 star environment in a similar role, and an excellent command of the English language. The selected candidate needs to be willing to work both day and night shifts as would be necessary. An ITS qualification (or equivalent), knowledge of the Opera system and knowledge of Maltese would be favourably considered. Other foreign languages will also be considered an asset.
