Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes, handling guest requests, and resolution of issues.
  • Provide continuous and objective feedback and perform performance reviews while continuously guiding the team.
  • Prepare and analyse reports on occupancy rates, revenue, and other performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize revenue and guest satisfaction.
  • Plan, prepare and monitor the budget, as well as keep records of office expenses and costs.
  • Scheduling shifts and supervising the Front Office team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in hospitality management and implement improvements as appropriate.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and excellence in guest service.

The potential candidate will ideally possess the following skills and qualities:

  • Excellent command of the English language; other languages would be an asset.
  • Previous experience within the field of customer service or front desk in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy.
  • Able to work shift duties, including evenings, nights, weekends and / or holidays.
