Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Pool Bar Bartender specialising in cocktails to join our team on a full-time basis. The Pool Bar Bartender will be responsible for crafting delicious and visually appealing cocktails, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages to guests at the pool bar.
- Engage with guests to recommend and suggest cocktails based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including equipment, utensils, and glassware.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed to ensure efficient operations.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional service and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender, preferably in a poolside or outdoor bar environment.
- Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage service standards.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
