Are you a skilled worker with a passion for crafting objects and things? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Trainee Glass Work Operator. In this role, you will be given the required training to utilize your hand-crafting skills to manufacture glass tubes used for measuring pH and RH values in water and other chemicals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture intricate glass tubes using glass working techniques.
- Collaborate with the Technical team and Glass Expert to learn and create current and new glass tube designs.
- Ensure the quality and precision of each glass tube piece produced.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the shop floor.
Requirements:
- Willingness to learn and adapt to glass working processes.
- Experience and capability in working with one’s hands.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work on your own.
- Previous experience with a brazing torch is considered an asset.
- Previous experience working with glass is considered an asset.
