Job Description

Pharmadox Healthcare Ltd is an EUcGMP licensed importation, secondary packaging, batch testing and batch release service provider to the global pharmaceutical industry. Having one of the largest and most established facilities in the EU catering for non-sterile, sterile and inhaler (MDIs/DPIs) pharmaceutical products, the company is seeking to expand its operations further and extensively. To substantiate company growth, the following vacancy has arisen: Quality Control Micro Analyst.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the QC Micro Manager, the selected candidates will be responsible for carrying out all microbiological testing of products including media preparation, plate preparation, reading of plates and interpretation of results
  • Execution of any analytical QC analysis of products within Pharmadox Healthcare QC lab
  • To perform any micro-validation and media evaluation studies
  • Execution of any monitoring within the microbiological lab
  • Review of analytical and microbiological results if required
  • Peer-reviewing of routine monitoring and calibration check, reagent and standard preparation
  • Performing any required simplistic equipment calibration procedures, if required
  • The operation, routine maintenance and cleaning of all laboratory equipment in addition to the routine checking of logbooks for a correct and complete compilation
  • General upkeep and cleaning of the micro laboratory
  • Registration of samples for microbiological analysis
  • Drafting of standard operating procedures for the Quality Control section
  • Any other duty which may be assigned by the Head of Quality Control or delegate
  • Responsible for the investigation and documentation of OOS and OOTs as per Pharmadox policies

Requirements:

  • In possession of a degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related science subject. Candidates having the BTEC National Diploma in Applied Science will also be considered
  • Have excellent organization and communication skills
  • Be able to work on own initiative, as well as in a team and under pressure to meet pre-set deadlines
  • Minimum one year experience in a QC laboratory
  • On-the-job training will be provided for the above post
