Job Description

Payhound Limited a VFA Service Provider regulated by the MFSA, is seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager on a full-time basis.

The chosen candidate will be focused on generating growth through sales and business development initiatives in what is a rapidly developing business engaged in B2B or high net-worth individuals for crypto payment processing, OTC trading and wallet solutions.

Duties include:

  • Selling company products and services to prospects.
  • Approaching prospective customers directly to gauge and enhance interest in company products and services.
  • Coordinating with the Head of Business Development, other Business Development Managers, Account Managers and Customer Success Managers for spotting market opportunities and/or cross-selling to new and existing clients.
  • Creating strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels.
  • Effectively communicating the company’s value proposition, processes and current partnerships.
  • Attending industry events and conferences to generate new business leads.
  • Working closely with Account Managers to deliver best customer experience during the onboarding process.
  • Generating sales, revenue and expense reports and other insights to be presented during Senior Management meetings.
  • Identifying key areas for improvement in sales processes and reporting them internally.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape, market trends and shifts whilst being fully aware of new products and competition status.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of relevant sales or business development experience are required, ideally in the gaming, payments or forex industry.
  • Proven track record in business development, B2B sales, or a related field.
  • Hunter mentality – driven and able to generate own leads.
  • Able to manage the entire end-to-end sales process from lead generation to closing of new business.
  • Flexibility – identify the need for change and, when necessary, design and drive changes in sales strategy / approach.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a passion for winning deals.
  • Analytical thinking – using different creative techniques to identify market problems and solutions, plan the next steps, and move opportunities through the entire sales process stages.
  • Candidate must have an excellent command of English.
  • Candidate must be very confident on the phone, during video calls and with face-to-face client interactions.
