Job Description
Nectar is seeking to reinforce the Marketing team by recruiting a Merchandiser to join our team.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Brand retail shelves appropriately using the various point of purchase (POP) materials made available.
- Ensure that the company’s brands / products get maximum exposure from within the allocated shelf space.
- Ensure that POP material and display stands are assembled, dismantled and utilised effectively and in line with the planograms, as set by the Merchandising Manager.
- Assist the Merchandising Manager in maintaining methodical storage of all merchandising material. This includes following the standard operating procedures when releasing and / or returning materials from / to the merchandising store.
- Assist during the periodic stock-takes of POP material.
Requirement:
- Must have a valid driving license.
The ideal candidate would also:
- Have good verbal / written communication skills.
- Have a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
- Be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Have good organisational skills.
- Have a hands-on approach.
- Able to handle and operate basic tools.
- Be computer literate and conversant in MS Office applications.
