Job Description

Muscats Motors Ltd specialises in Automotive and has an exciting full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic Brand Manager to join our dynamic team.

As Brand Manager, you will be responsible for the marketing, sale, and promotion of JLR Motor Vehicles and showroom premises.

Tasks:

  • To promote and sell the JLR brand to increase sales and brand knowledge with customers.
  • To establish and maintain an excellent relationship with customers to answer all queries related to the vehicles and to make sure that their requirements are met during the sale process, handle all communications and be the main point of contact for all JLR-related issues.
  • To develop yearly and subsequently monthly budgets in line with both JLR and Muscats Motors’ requirements.
  • To be responsible for implementing side projects in line with JLR standards, such as but not limited to InControl Apps, Used approved and others.
  • To compile brand reports (market share, forecasts, segmentation) and submit in a timely manner to JLR.
  • To be responsible for maintaining the brand in line with contractual obligations such as vim pipeline, mystery shopping etc. including audits.
  • To liaise with JLR for available production slots and relevant vehicle logistics (up to Port) in line with current / future targets.
  • To liaise with marketing on brand image and gain feedback from sales to make informed decisions on marketing campaigns.
  • To organise and attend new vehicle launches, motor fairs and other events.
  • To act as a point of escalation for the JLR sales team and other JLR-related matters of concern which will consequently have a negative impact on the business.
  • To review and approve / reject all JLR invoices and provide feedback on pricing strategy, product offerings, support, problematic products and other ways to strengthen business to JLR based on current sales and marketing feedback.
  • To carry out benchmarking exercises with competitors’ offerings and statistical analysis related to brand positioning and analyses Roi from marketing channels.
  • To prepare budgets, business and marketing plans, sales reports, ordering of vehicles on stock and any ad hoc reports required from time to time.
  • To attend meetings with JLR representatives and cooperate in Quality Audits.

Skills:

  • Highly organised, flexible and meticulous, with the ability to prioritise workload with minimal supervision.
  • Be able to work in a team and maintain relationships both internal and external.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A qualification in Sales or Marketing at diploma level or higher.
  • Experience in sales within the automotive industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in the verbal and written Maltese and English languages.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
