We are seeking to employ a Consultant – Data Governance within our Chief Technology Office to lead various initiatives to implement the public administration’s data strategy.
These projects should allow the Public Administration to achieve its data governance goals, through the implementation of effective technical solutions (involving research, design, and implementation) and establishing the necessary framework to ensure effective Data Governance. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise of current / emerging technologies with innovative thinking and bring a strong understanding of data management and data governance. The role would benefit from knowledge and experience with open data, interoperability aspects, data quality, and data protection.
This position involves participation in European Commission expert groups on Data Governance, Interoperability and AI, and possibly EU-funded projects under Digital Europe Programme and others.

Eligibility requirements
Eligible candidates must satisfy one of the following options in terms of qualifications and/or experience in an ICT-related area:
- A qualification (MQF level 7) or higher and 5 years of ICT-related experience, 3 of which must be in an ICT leadership / Project Management; or
- A qualification (MQF level 6) and 6 years of experience, 3 of which must be at an ICT leadership / Project Management; or
- 10 years of experience, 3 of which must be at an ICT leadership / Project Management level.
