Job Description
The Melior Boutique Hotel is currently looking for a full-time passionate, values-driven, customer-oriented, diligent Housekeeping Attendant to be part of the team. A dynamic individual who has experience in housekeeping or similar roles and can provide legendary customer experience to the guests in the heart of the city.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Cleaning and arranging the guest rooms daily.
- Making and changing bed linens and towels.
- Cleaning, disinfecting, sanitizing, and bathrooms and providing toiletries.
- Dusting of furniture and fixtures.
- Performing check-in and check-out procedures.
- Cleaning the public areas.
- Stocking and maintaining the inventory of housekeeping supplies.
- Delivering In-Room breakfast as per the guest’s requests.
- Meeting quality and cleaning standards.
- Make sure that supplies are present in the rooms.
Knowledge and experience:
- Relevant housekeeping or cleaner experience for at least 2 years in a hotel.
- Excellent communication and comprehension in English; both verbal and written. Can speak other languages is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledgeable on health and safety standards and sanitation.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Attentive to details and well-organized.
- Performing cleaning duties as per the cleaning and hygiene standards and health and safety policies.
- Can do shifting schedule and work on public holidays.
