The main responsibilities of this role will include:
- The performance of routine and other analysis on wines and other beverage products as required.
- Reporting of results and record-keeping of analytical data.
- Orderly upkeep of the laboratory work area, apparatus and glassware.
- Inventory and stock management of the required chemicals, reagents and glassware.
The ideal candidate for this post would be in possession of an A’ level in Chemistry or equivalent / higher qualifications. Relevant laboratory work experience would be considered an asset but not essential as the necessary training will be provided.
The position requires a person who is methodical, well-organised and efficient in his / her work whilst maintaining attention to detail and to the clear presentation of results.
Good verbal and report writing skills as well as competence with Microsoft Office applications, in particular, Excel and Word, are also considered important for this role.
