Job Description

As part of their continued growth, our client is seeking to recruit, on a full-time basis, a smart, highly self-motivated Sales Executive for their Toys and Stationery department.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Target and visit current or potential customers to promote and sell the Company’s products.
  • Gather customer and product information to determine customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Process and follow up on orders as necessary.
  • Adhere to daily processes and procedures including the collection of payments.
  • General in-store marketing; tweaking displays, rotation of stock, application of POS material where allowed etc.
  • Communicate with Sales Manager regarding sales issues, stocks, sales targets, customers’ requests etc. on a daily basis.

Knowledge and Skills required:

  • Fluent, in both writing and speaking in Maltese and / or English.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Clean police conduct.
  • Team player.
  • In possession of a clean driving licence.
  • Able to work on own initiative, ambitious and self-motivated.
  • Experience in sales, especially in the retail market.
