Job Description
We are currently seeking a Storekeeper to join our team. Storekeepers are responsible for managing inventory and maintaining the organization of a store or warehouse.
Main Duties
- Receiving and inspecting incoming goods.
- Storing items in appropriate locations within the store or warehouse.
- Keeping accurate records of inventory levels
- Monitoring inventory levels and preparation of reports for Management to order replenishments as needed.
- Ensuring that items are properly labelled and packaged for storage.
- Organizing and arranging merchandise to optimize space and accessibility.
- Conducting regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies and prevent loss.
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the store or warehouse.
- Assisting the sales team with locating items, replenishment of inventory in the showroom, and processing orders.
- Other duties as determined by the company from time to time.
Overall, storekeepers play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of a store or warehouse by managing inventory effectively and providing support to other staff members as needed.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment or similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be physically fit to move and / or lift objects.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Maltese and numerical skills.
The remuneration package will be according to experience.
