Job Description

We are seeking to recruit full-time Chef De Partie / Demi Chef to join our team. This position calls for responsible, mature, motivated, and enthusiastic people who can work on their own initiative and as a member of a team.

The role

  • Ensures that material wastage is kept to the barest minimum, and reports to the Sous Chef any abnormal levels of such wastage.
  • Daily monitoring of the departments’ production such that all time frames are kept, and the dispatch of foods or meals is up to the required standards. This is to be done in liaison with the Chef.
  • Ensures that all hygiene regulations (including HACCP) are strictly observed and followed by all employees in your section, including coding, cooking and chilling temperatures and records.
  • Perform tasks as instructed.

Your profile

  • Good command of English and Maltese.
  • Can work under pressure.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills, organisation skills and ability to work under pressure without supervision.
