The Gollcher Group is a leading Freight Forwarding, Ship Agency and Logistics organisation in Malta and is fully committed to providing a first-class quality service to business partners and customers.
The Role:
- Carrying out accounting entries and postings
- Verify and handle invoices, payments, and other financial entries for both accounts payable and receivable, ensuring precision and integrity of financial data
- Carrying out bank / debtors / creditors and other accounting reconciliations
- Maintaining systems, procedures, and policies to ensure controls and efficiencies
- Liaising with internal departments as well as suppliers
- Carrying out any other related duties as may be required
Qualifications and Skills:
- Hold a qualification / part qualification in Accounting
- Knowledge of Shireburn SFM would be considered an asset
- Proficient in the use of computer applications including Microsoft Excel
- Ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently and within stipulated time frames
- Positive can-do attitude
- Fluency in English and Maltese
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with the team and internal departments
- Good written communication skills
