We are looking for a Financial Planning Analyst to join our Finance team. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will maintain robust financial models to enable sound business planning and decision-making. This role offers a good opportunity for exposure to senior management and external stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintaining robust financial models to enable sound business planning and decision-making.
  • Preparation of reports and presentations in connection with ongoing business performance and strategic projects, for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive the annual budgeting and planning process in collaboration with company leadership.
  • Preparation and review of monthly flash reporting.
    Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement in the financial reporting and operating processes.
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variances to budget / forecast.
  • Analyse current and past trends in KPIs including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
  • Continuously enhance systems and/or processes to improve forecast and planning, business insight, and analysis to support the execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Analysis of quality of data in SAP.
  • Ad-hoc analysis, research, and reports.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Recognised degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3+ years of professional accounting or finance experience; preferably in FP&A.
  • A dynamic personality, flexible and committed during busy periods, with a can-do attitude.
  • Have a passion for structure, simplicity and efficiency required for optimal financial modelling, with a proven ability to construct well-structured, robust, logical, Excel-based financial models for complex businesses.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects at once, with ability to summarise complex financial data in clear analyses and presentations.
  • Familiarity with SAP is an advantage.
