As our People Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for identifying and coordinating all training needs, managing the training calendar, logistics and budgets, as well as assisting in a number of administrative duties to support the People team. In this role, you will also manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, whilst also being responsible for ensuring that our people get an excellent training experience through impeccable coordination, pro-activity and being highly employee-centric.

Being highly organised and having the ability to deal with pressured situations, multiple demands, and tight deadlines will help you succeed in this position.

Does this sound like you? Here’s what you need to have to match our requirements:

  • Minimum 1-year experience working in an HR or administrative position;
  • Possess a growth mindset;
  • Excellent computer skills, especially with MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc;
  • Excellent spoken and written English;
  • Excellent teamwork and people skills;
  • Ability to take initiative and possess good negotiation skills;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision;
  • Highly organised and with excellent attention to detail.

  • If you have a certificate / diploma in Human Resources Management, Training and Development or a related field.

  • Assisting in creating a dynamic learning culture in line with GO’s purpose;
  • Compiling data to measure the success of learning initiatives, preparing and presenting presentations as well as managing training reports;
  • Supporting, guiding and giving advice to the People team, leaders and our people on training-related matters;
  • Ensuring that the quality of all GO Academy learning programmes offered, meet GO’s standards;
  • Assisting in addressing and managing the training needs analysis of all our people;
  • Collaborating with various internal stakeholders to organise impactful learning initiatives;
  • Sourcing external training suppliers, negotiating best prices and reviewing supplier agreements;
  • Handling training logistics, training room set-ups, stock, payments, and day-to-day operations;
  • Keeping budgets up to date as per GO standards and processes;
  • Creating effective training communications that drive uptake of learning initiatives through internal platforms;
  • Generating enticing content for external communication channels to expose GO Academy on socials;
  • Challenging and improving the training processes for a more effective learning experience.
  • Sourcing and applying for funding schemes;
  • Creating and running learning surveys to gather feedback on L&D initiatives;
  • Assisting and supporting in day-to-day employee matters;
  • Supporting the People team on ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
