Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HR professional to be involved in all the different aspects of HR including recruitment and selection, on and offboarding processes, digitalisation of HR data and systems and training and development.

Role

  • Coordinating the on and offboarding processes of employees to ensure completion of all the various steps involved.
  • Involvement in the company’s recruitment and selection processes.
  • Coordinating and processing residence and other work permits.
  • Planning, scheduling, and coordinating training courses for employees including liaising with trainers and participants to ensure smooth execution.
  • Managing, coordinating and updating the employee record system, including transfer to a digital system.
  • Facilitating effective communication with employees regarding HR matters, policies, and updates including addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Processing disciplinary procedures in accordance with company policies and legal regulations, ensuring fairness and consistency in disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinating the performance management programme to ensure that this is rolled out and completed in a timely manner.
  • Supporting in reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and organisational needs.
  • Supporting the department’s involvement and responsibility for health and safety and GDPR matters.
  • Handling various other HR-related tasks and inquiries and providing support to the HR team and other departments as needed.

Ideal Requirements

  • Proven experience in HR roles, preferably in a similar capacity.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes, employment laws, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and digital record-keeping systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • A good command of English and Maltese.
