Job Description

If so, FELTOM (Federation of English Language Teaching Organizations of Malta) is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead our organization into the future.

About FELTOM
FELTOM is dedicated to setting, improving, and ensuring the maintenance of standards in all aspects of English language education. Our mission is to foster cooperation among licensed English Language Schools in Malta while enhancing the industry’s reputation both locally and internationally.

Position Description
As the CEO of FELTOM, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization’s operations, staff, and executive activities to ensure alignment with the overall strategy set by the FELTOM Board.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Developing and implementing in-house policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with the Board to identify and achieve short-term and long-term goals.
  • Creating strategies for growth, resource allocation, budgeting, and partnerships.
  • Maintaining and enhancing FELTOM’s standing and presence in local and international forums.
  • Coordinating with local stakeholders and authorities to address industry issues and needs.
  • Developing and executing media marketing plans, including digital advertising and local media appearances.
  • Cultivating relationships with potential and existing FELTOM Trusted Partners.
  • Guiding member schools to adhere to the FELTOM Accreditation Scheme for quality assurance.
  • Representing FELTOM in advocacy efforts with stakeholders and relevant authorities.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in a similar role, preferably within the education or language industry.
  • Excellent strategic planning and implementation skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and advocacy.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Understanding of financial management and budgeting.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of professionalism and quality.
  • Must be resident in Malta.
