We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Person to join our team and ensure the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. In this role, you will be supporting our Facilities Supervisor in ensuring the safety, functionality, and upkeep of our offices. Your responsibilities will include a range of maintenance tasks, from basic electrical and plumbing works to general facility maintenance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform various maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing and electrical works, panelling, tiling, and painting when necessary.
- Assembling / dismantling and repositioning of office furniture.
- Conduct preventative maintenance as required.
- Report any safety concerns or potential damage.
- Coordinate and assist in special projects as directed.
- Monitor work performed by outside contractors and ensure quality standards.
- Run errands as necessary using a company vehicle.
Skills and Requirements
- A valid driving license.
- Be organised, practical and trustworthy.
- Capable of working efficiently and with minimal supervision.
- Have a strong commitment to quality and workplace safety.
- Proficiency in English and Maltese language will be considered an asset.
Previous experience in a similar role and familiarity with the use of power tools will be considered an asset.
