Job Description

We are seeking talented Chefs to join our team at the new family entertainment centre opening soon. As a Chef in our casual dining restaurant, you will be responsible for creating delicious and appealing dishes that cater to our diverse clientele, ranging from families to groups of friends enjoying our entertainment offerings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute food preparation tasks efficiently and with attention to detail, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Utilize your culinary expertise to prepare a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
  • Support the Head Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring efficient workflow during service hours.
  • Assist in monitoring food quality, portion sizes, and consistency, conducting regular inspections to uphold culinary standards and guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to address customer feedback, special requests, and dietary restrictions, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and equipment maintenance.

Experience and skills required:

  • Proven experience as Chef or senior culinary role.
  • Strong culinary skills with a comprehensive understanding of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and flavour profiles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
