Job Description

Given that, the position for an enthusiastic, analytical and motivated HR Coordinator on a full-time basis, has arisen!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing general HR administrative functions such as updating the JobsPlus portal, organizational charts, and employee records as well as other related HR duties within the group structure.
  • Providing guidance and support to employees in relation to HR policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Developing recruitment strategies and assisting with interviewing and selection processes.
  • Coordinating and supporting employee engagement activities and creating team-building initiatives. 
  • Maintaining company-wide HR procedures which comply with relevant labour laws, EU directives and regulations.
  • Assisting with employee onboarding and conducting company-specific induction sessions.
  • Working with different company departments to identify training needs, perform talent reviews, provide career development advice and assist with performance management. 
  • Seeking to continuously improve HR processes and systems to enhance company efficiency and effectiveness. 

Qualifications, experience and key skills required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Psychology, Human Resource Management or related.
  • HR experience within the healthcare / pharmacy industry will be considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience within an HR role with a focus on employee lifecycle management, recruitment and employee retention. 
  • Meticulous attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with excellent proficiency in both English and Maltese.
  • Familiarity with labour laws, employment regulations and compliance requirements.
