Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen ahead for those who would like to advance their career within the hospitality industry. Reporting directly to the Area Director of Finance, this position requires an individual with a proven track record in finance.

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Delivering crucial cost analysis to the Director of Finance and Departmental Heads for efficient cost management throughout the organization.
  • Setting up and maintaining strong cost control systems to enhance profits without compromising quality and service standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with cost control procedures through proactive measures and collaboration with the Area Director of Finance as needed.
  • Teaming up with managers to monitor high-cost items and streamline inventory management across all departments.
  • Generating daily reports to compare actual costs and sales against potential figures, highlighting opportunities for financial optimization.
  • Coordinating with the purchasing team and managers on accurate costing and pricing strategies and aligning purchasing with inventory needs to reduce waste and maximize profitability.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience in a similar position.
  • Be computer literate and familiar with accounting software.
  • Have knowledge of Hotel PMS, ideally Adaco and Micros / Simphony.
  • Be able to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Be self-motivated, able to work under pressure, and adhere to deadlines.
  • Portray a professional image commensurate with the values of the Company.
  • Have an eye for detail.
  • Be discrete and confidential.
