The candidate will be responsible for:
- Delivering crucial cost analysis to the Director of Finance and Departmental Heads for efficient cost management throughout the organization.
- Setting up and maintaining strong cost control systems to enhance profits without compromising quality and service standards.
- Ensuring compliance with cost control procedures through proactive measures and collaboration with the Area Director of Finance as needed.
- Teaming up with managers to monitor high-cost items and streamline inventory management across all departments.
- Generating daily reports to compare actual costs and sales against potential figures, highlighting opportunities for financial optimization.
- Coordinating with the purchasing team and managers on accurate costing and pricing strategies and aligning purchasing with inventory needs to reduce waste and maximize profitability.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in a similar position.
- Be computer literate and familiar with accounting software.
- Have knowledge of Hotel PMS, ideally Adaco and Micros / Simphony.
- Be able to work in a dynamic environment.
- Be self-motivated, able to work under pressure, and adhere to deadlines.
- Portray a professional image commensurate with the values of the Company.
- Have an eye for detail.
