We at Combino Pharm (Malta) Ltd are expanding our operations and are looking for motivated and capable individuals who would like to join our growing team!

Combino Pharm (Malta) Ltd, and its sister company Medichem Manufacturing (Malta) Ltd, form part of the Medichem group, a Spanish pharmaceutical organisation which develops and manufactures both active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished dosage forms.

Combino Pharm is focused on solid oral generic pharmaceutical products while Medichem specialises in active pharmaceutical ingredients. The organization provides high-quality medicinal substances and products for the worldwide market, with special emphasis on Europe and the US.

The two factories are located side-by-side in the Hal Far Industrial Estate, hold EU GMP certification and US FDA approval, and have been operating here in Malta for 18 years.

As part of our expansion in operations, we are looking for candidates for our Combino Pharm (Malta) Ltd for the following role: Artwork Specialist

Reporting to the Production Manager, the chosen candidate will be responsible for:

  • Handling the artworks for the Medichem group of companies.
  • Liaising with clients and CMOs to gather and manage all the information related to the artwork process.
  • Collaborating with the Technical team in order to review and approve the supplied artwork.
  • Coordinating with the suppliers for the generation and approval of artworks.
  • Assisting the Regulatory Affairs with artwork definition.
  • Collaborating in internal and external functions to ensure appropriate management of the artwork changes and other relevant documentation.
  • Issuing, updating, and reviewing production documentation like standard operating procedures and production batch records.
  • Supporting and implementing GMP industry standards across the Production department.
  • Collaborating with the Quality Assurance department to maintain GMP in a sustainable compliance status and to address solutions to productivity and supply issues through the issuance and implementation of required documentation such as change controls, deviation reports and other investigation activities like root cause analysis, supplier interface, corrective and preventive actions.
  • Helping in the serialization onboarding process of clients.

The position requires:

  • Ideally in the possession of a higher qualification in Science or Project Management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Ideally have experience working in a GMP environment but not strictly a requirement.
  • Good computer literacy and command of MS Office Applications.
  • Ideally have experience working with SAP.
