Job Description

Citadel Insurance p.lc is seeking to engage a Finance Manager to join our Finance department, reporting to the Head of Finance.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivables, accounts payables, payroll, vendor / consultant liaison, and banking and investments.
  • Own and manage the general ledger, including daily transaction coding, chart of accounts structuring, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Perform month-end closing, including the production of financial reports, management reports, and variance analyses.
  • Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
  • Apply technical accounting expertise to ensure compliance with and efficient application of IFRS.
  • Liaise, support, and work cross-functionally with people in Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Business Operations on a regular basis.

Skill-sets and requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting skills.
  • Good knowledge of internal control standard methodologies.
  • Meticulous professional and good communicator.

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degrees and/or ACCA.
  • 5+ years of related experience with a combination of finance and investment experience.
  • Experience in investment administration will be considered an asset.
