Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee operations at a large construction site. The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role demands a proactive individual who is capable of making immediate decisions and effectively managing diverse teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly oversee the daily operations of the construction site, ensuring all activities adhere to established policies and regulations.
  • Manage and motivate a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring effective collaboration and efficiency on-site.
  • Make immediate, informed decisions to resolve operational, technical, and personnel issues as they arise.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments to prevent accidents.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor the progress of the construction project, reporting status, delays, and issues to senior management promptly.
  • Manage budgets and project resources, ensuring the cost-effective allocation of equipment and materials.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and responding to concerns or requests.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in MS Office and construction management software.
