As an express logistics company, time is of the essence in all our operations. Therefore, we are seeking an ideal candidate who excels as a team player and can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. In this position, you will report directly to the Head of Operations. You will be tasked with overseeing the daily operations of both inbound and outbound processes while striving to develop and implement strategies that align with our goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve workflow and enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise coordination and communication.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and motivate a team of operations staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment to achieve operational excellence.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Maltese.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Proven experience in logistics and operations management, with a minimum of 3 years in a management role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
