Job Description
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team.
Scope, Purpose and Objective
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance, repair and general upkeep of all public and residential areas of the hotel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide a daily maintenance program to ensure the most economical and safe condition of the property
- Inspect the property and all common areas to detect maintenance problems that require attention
- Coordinate and complete maintenance requests
- Change or clean all air-conditioning filters quarterly or as deemed necessary
- Follow a preventative maintenance schedule and legionella preventative maintenance
- Respond to after-hours requests providing evening, weekend and holiday emergency service
- Perform maintenance inspections and repairs on vacant rooms to ensure proper operating conditions and appearance upon arrivals
- Maintain with the budgetary limits, an inventory of parts to make necessary repairs
- Attend operation meetings as scheduled
- Supervise, coach and lead the maintenance on-duty staff
- Prioritize Maintenance service requests to ensure guest convenience, satisfaction and safety
