The Operations team at Bolt holds full responsibility for the strategy, marketplace health and growth of our ride-hailing business in Malta and Gozo. We’re on the hunt for a dynamic Operations Manager to join our team, where you’ll spearhead our efforts in the vibrant ride-hailing vertical. About the role
As the Operations Manager within our ride-hailing vertical, you’ll play a critical role in optimizing and expanding our operational footprint in Malta and building the best product for Drivers and Riders, serving local needs. You will form part of the local leadership team, and you will also need to proactively collaborate with HQ and cross-functional teams to achieve your goals, winning against competitors whilst not forgetting about our balance sheet.
You’ll oversee a wide variety of operational processes, including driver acquisition, retention, and support initiatives, ensuring that our platform delivers exceptional service to both Riders and Drivers.
Your daily adventures will include
- Managing the Operations team with a strong focus on marketplace growth and health to provide the best value proposition to Riders and Drivers
- Developing strategies to strengthen Driver’s value proposition to continually grow our supply base, performance, quality, compliance and retention
- Hands-on supply management – You will use your communication and strategic skills to collaborate with key partners to actively scale and retain our supply base across the whole country
- Monitoring and analyzing key operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Identifying trends, risks and opportunities that may impact the business and convert them into actions
- Advising and closely collaborating with HQ teams such as Product, Legal and Marketing to develop and execute key initiatives that drive growth and efficiency
About you
- You have at least 4 years of experience in a high-growth environment. Experience in project management and / or consulting is considered a plus
- You are great at making data-driven and metric-driven decisions
- You are highly analytical and have great numerical skills. When we say data-driven we actually mean it
- You have a strong sense of ownership with a hands-on approach
- You are a hustler, not afraid of obstacles and making mistakes
- You are a strong leader and collaborator with excellent negotiation and communication skills
