Job Description

We are looking for a full time, ICT Administrator who is highly motivated and passionate about information technology to join us at our offices in Qormi.

Within our multicultural environment, the chosen candidate will be exposed to a myriad of technologies whilst working on projects and will also provide day-to-day support and maintenance of the ICT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the IT strategy in order to help the company meet its goals and long-term vision.
  • Provide support to internal users via a ticketing system; both local and remote.
  • Provide out-of-office hours support through an on-call rotation system.
  • Install, configure and maintain IT hardware and software across various platforms.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Monitor proactively IT assets.
  • Support the infrastructure; including servers and networking devices.
  • Follow infrastructure and information security best practices.
  • Educate our internal users on IT policies and best practices.
  • Liaise with vendors and other 3rd parties.
  • Take ownership of tasks and projects assigned to you by the ICT Manager – EU.
  • Take part in a rotating on-call system to assist during out-of-office hours, receiving compensation in the form of an added allowance.

Skills, knowledge and expertise:

  • Ideally in possession of a diploma or a bachelor’s degree in the IT field.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Professional working proficiency in the English language.
  • Be eager to learn new technologies.
  • Have an analytic mindset and be attentive to detail.

Bonus skills / certifications (the following would be an advantage to have):

  • Vendor certifications (e.g. A+, CCNA, Microsoft, ITIL.)
  • Experience with Linux.
  • Experience with Windows servers.
  • Experience with Virtualization.
